First Airsoft Game Tomorrow
So tomorrow will be the moment of truth – whether or not I can handle airsoft.
The closest thing to airsoft I’ve played is laser tag… And that’s not even close to being the same.
Tomorrow I’ll be playing in a CQB (close quarter battle) game. Nick and I are going to be going with Matt and maybe another friend to either Pheonix or Eastside indoor to play our (Nick and my) first game ever.
Beforehand, Matt is going to show up with all his gear to let us check it out and decide what we are going to use or if we will need to rent.
I am nervous. I am not ashamed to admit it. Nick and I have shot each other so I’m not too anxious about the pain. Although, I am not sure I’m prepared for how close I might get shot. I’d say I’m a bit more anxious because of the fact I’m new to the whole thing and really don’t know what the heck to do. I’m a bit of a perfectionist so I don’t enjoy not knowing what to do.
For you other girls out there anxious or uncertain about playing, I’m willing to share my experience, step-by-step, so you can get an idea of what to expect. I know it’s hard to find stuff out there about being a girl and playing airsoft, so I want to be able to give you an unfiltered view of my whole experience and not put on some “tough-girl” act, or tell you to, “Suck it up!”
So with that, wish me luck tomorrow and I will for sure fill you in on how the game goes.
